The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) have begun a randomized, controlled clinical trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of coronavirus vaccines in adults diagnosed with coronavirus in 2019. The study was commissioned by the Centers of Disease Prevention and Control, a division of the CDC's National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
